Abstract
The nonlinear boundary value problem arising in the two-dimensional fully-developed Darcy-Brinkman-Forchheimer flow through an annulus is solved numerically using a combination of finite-difference and homotopy continuation methods. The RKF45 procedure is used to solve the initial value problem arising in the homotopy method. Results of the study are compared with those obtained by the shooting method. The effect of increasing Darcy number is to flatten the velocity profile. The influence of the Brinkman and Forchheimer numbers on the velocity is not as significant as that of the Darcy number.
