Abstract

Erythropoiesis, Leukopoiesis and Lymphopoiesis coupled with the dynamics of 6-MP used in the maintenance therapy of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) are modeled by delay differential equations. Existence and characteristics of equilibria are studied for each process separately. For the lymphoblasts' line the analysis shows that the maintenance therapy can lead to healing the disease.
