Analysis of a DDE model of evolution in malaria incorporating the action of the immune system
Last modified: 2023-05-15
Abstract
We will introduce a delay differential equation model of malaria that describes the evolution of the disease induced by Plasmodium falciparum when a physiological model of erythropoiesis is considered together with the action of the immune system, such as the concentrations of APC, T cells, B lymphocytes and antibodies produced by the B cells.
Some qualitative aspects of the model will be investigated.
