Abstract

Dynamics of a double VAWT is considered. The VAWT contains two Darrieus turbines positioned one under another. The axes of the turbines are connected with the rotor and stator of the electric generator, respectively. Features of the electromechanical system behavior associated with the nonlinearity of aerodynamic load are investigated.
