This article deals with the problem of the fractional dierentiation in the complex plane. In particular, the case of the Lerch zeta function is presented and discussed.Some analytic results are given. Moreover, in the note the author treats an application both in the theory of function spaces and number theory. Finally, further theoretical properties are established.
