Abstract

Passification-based simple adaptive control approach is applied for active suppression of flexural-torsional flutter of the aircraft wing, which uses both measurements of the angle of the wing torsion and its displacement for improvement, in compare with the existing results,  the quality of the adaptive feedback control system. Impact of the unmodeled dynamics and mechanical restrictions, such as the the actuator's inertia, time sampling and level quantization of the  control signal, and , as well, the actuator rate and position limitations on the  closed-loop  system performance, are studied.
